JUNE BUGS .... What's bugging you? I'm bugged about how hot it got so quick. We had a great Spring with low humidity and cooler nights & mornings. But once it decided to become Summer, the old mercury went sky high along with the humidity. What I'm not bugged about is PBGN & all the opportunities coming up for playin golf, clinics & fun times with great friends. We truly have a wonderful club made up of a sisterhood of golfing friends. I've never been more proud to be a PBGN member than this year and especially this month. Junior Golf and the Pasadena HS Girl's Golf Team has made me feel very connected to our metro community in a way that is difficult to experience in Houston. Hat's off to all the members who donated clubs, bags, shoes, balls, etc. to our recent drive to provide the PHS Team with needed equipment for the summer months. A special Thanks to Nancy & Danny Meyers for delivering our donation to Coach Russell Kent. Member/Guest Scramble Tournament has been rescheduled, because of the rain-out last month, to June12th at West Fork Golf Club. Lunch will be provided by Vernon's Country Catfish and a special gift will be given to all those that attend. |

League play for 2010. League play for 2010 has been underway for several weeks. This year you have the option to golf 2 different courses on 2 different nights. Surely one of these will fit your schedule. On Wednesday evening starting at 5:30, come out to golf at Kingwood Cove Golf Club in Humble, TX. The price for 9-holes of golf is only $12, plus tax & cart. If Wednesday doesn't work for you try Thursday evening at Jersey Meadows Golf Club in Jersey Village, TX. League play starts at 5:15 and the cost is $20 plus tax. |
