Hole-In-One Pot!  The PBGN playdays have begun so don't miss out if that should be the lucky day to get your hole-in-one.  In order to be eligible to win in 2009 you must add $5 to the kitty.  When you pay your 2009 dues add the extra $5 to the total and you'll be in the run to claim the prize.  Ech calendar year, $125 from this pot will go into the scholarship fun, if it's available. So, now is the time to get your $5 into the kitty and get a chance to come out a winner.

Match Play Handicap for 2009

We will be using the Ghin Course Handicap Calculator to determine what handicaps will be utilized for the courses you will be playing your matches.

1. You or your opponent or both may go online to the Ghin site.

2. Look for the Course Handicap Calculator.

3. You will need to enter your current handicap index and the slope of the course you will be playing to determine your handicap for that said course. (you can find most slopes by entering a golf course name in the system)

4. The player with the lowest handicap will be the one to give strokes to their opponent.

5. The number of strokes to be given will be the difference between the high and low handicaps from the calculator.

6. You should print this information and bring it to the course with you for verification. NO FIGHTING!!!!
